AGENDA 5:00 PM Greetings and Socializing 7:00 PM Dinner Catered by Elegant Catering 8:00 PM Announcements and Raffle 8:30 PM Music & Dancing – Terri White DJ 12:00 PM Lights out Welcome to the reunion. It is hard to believe that 50 years have passed since High School! A lot of things have changed in the community, the world, and to each of us over the years. Technology has exploded. Gadgets like cell phones, the internet, space travel, DVD’s, Ipads, and high tech golf clubs have changed our lives. We have changed too. We have married, raised children, had grandchildren, had great-grandchildren, and enjoyed the ups and downs of careers and life in general. Despite all the changes the one thing that remains the same is that common thread that binds all of us together, those few short moments in time that we spent together in high school so many years ago….. Enjoy yourself tonight and in the years to come. Stay in touch, and may God continue to bless you and your families!! THE REUNION COMMITTEE Vickie Abraham Haney Donald Arndt Al Baker Peggy Blackman Gall Becky Smith Fischer Chuck Harman Anita Ford Harrison Fred Krause Bonnie Matheson Hoffmeyer John McHugh Jerry Miller Irene Shipley Lynda Suciu Charlene Wiggers RAFFLE In 1982 we raffled off two bottles of Boonesfarm wine and the winners were Ron Schacher and Rick Currell. In 1987 Ron and Rick brought those bottles back, and we raffled them off again and again and again. Now 35 years later the tradition continues!! Be sure to get some raffle tickets this evening for your chance to protect a bottle for the next 5 years!!

A PRAYER FOR OUR DECEASED CLASSMATES
To paraphrase from Ecclesiastes:
For everything there is a time.
A time to be born and a time to die,
A time to laugh and a time to cry,
A time to speak and a time to be silent,
A time to forget and a time to remember.
Let us remember as we pray.
Heavenly Father, we pause in the midst of this special celebration to remember
classmates who have reached the end of their days. They were a part of our lives in
some way and we stop to think of them now.
We thank you for the memories that come to mind when we think of them. These
memories are gifts from you to remind us of times together. They might make us
smile, laugh, or shed a tear. We thank you that we can do all of those and more when
thinking of them.
We pray that when our time is done, we will be remembered in similar ways.
May God grant the peace that passes understanding to those who have gone before us,
as well as to us and all human kind.
Amen.

- The drinking fountains at George Daly ran red with iron deposits
- The gymnasium would rock during a PEP rally. When Mr. Blewitt and Mr. Angus did a cart
wheel across the stage!!
- Mr. Belpeido put some of the answers of the multiple choice answers as Elby Jay
- We would dance in the gym
- Life was more care free. Biggest worry was what to wear to teen club and learning the latest
dance.
- The band went to Chicago for a Lions Club convention & parade. Ron Schacher, Danny
Peterson, and I didn’t get any sleep while we were in Chicago. We did catch up on our sleep
during the ride home much to Sallie Glasco’s amusement. Thank goodness there were no cell
phone cameras back then!
- Peggy Blackman, Merlene Bell, and a couple of others TP’d Joe Rose’s house and his Dad
came out with a shotgun and waved it and threatened us and we had to push Peggy’s Corvair
out of the ditch!!
- My sister drank the bottle of wine I received at a Class reunion and I had to fill it with grape
juice to be able to bring it back to the next reunion!
- We were young and lost most of our football games.
- I tell my grandkids how Dennis used to shoot his free throws!!
- We bowled Saturday mornings at Nightingale!!
- When I could “remember when”
- Lining up in front of the lockers. Great football and basketball games. Proms and tallying
attendance for Miss Boonstra.
- I got kicked out of school in my Jr. year for having my pants tucked into my Wellington
boots!
- The Majorettes and Cheerleaders froze our butts off at the football games!
- We were the only school in Flint to have co-ed showers!
- Guys shirts tucked in- knee length dresses – belts in pants!
