He invented the bike. It is a cheap means of transport.

He was born on September 2nd,1812 and he died on January 23rd, 1878. He had a wife and six children.

He did a variety of jobs as a young man.

He got inspired in a hobbyhorse. The hobby horse is a vehicle. It has got two wheels, one of them is bigger than the other. The back wheel is the biggest one. It hasn´t got any pedals. He didn´t patent his invention. He didn´t try to make any money out of it. He preferred to enjoy the quiet country live.
