Mission
Kitsap County Parks Department is committed to providing quality of life enhancing opportunities through management of natural areas and specialized facilities, fostering community stewardship, and offer-ing an outstanding service-oriented environment.
Kitsap County Parks and Open Space system cur-rently includes 79 sites totaling 6,344 acres which include Heritage Parks, Regional Parks, Community Parks, Natural resource areas, Partnership properties, and a 129 acre Fairgrounds complex.
Inventory includes 10 picnic shelters, 13 playgrounds, 10 soccer fields, 1 baseball stadium with capacity of 800, 1 arena stadium with capacity of 5500, 12 base-ball/softball fields, 7 community meeting spaces, 4 tournament baseball/softball fields, 1 synthetic turf soccer field with capacity for 1200, Indoor sports courts, indoor event space for up to 4300 guests in the Kitsap Sun Pavilion, 1000 guests in the Presidents’ Hall, and 250 guests in the Van Zee.
Many of the parks and rental facilities are located on water or have water views.
Village Greens Golf Course
Recently renovated 18 hole executive golf course in Port Orchard with a growing con-stituency and high praise from USGA for the improved greens. This course sees over 11,000 visitors each year and is growing.
Score Card sponsor— 3 levels depending on size of ad space $100, $200, $400
Driving Range—$500 to place your 4’x4’ company logo yardage marker at the 50, 100, 150, or 200 yard spot
Benches—Purchase/Sponsor—$500 (exclusive one year sponsor), Sponsor only $300 for 1 year, $500 for 2 years (multiple sponsors per bench)
Athletic Fields
Gordon Fields, Lobe Fields, Anderson Hill Fields, South Kitsap Regional Fields, Veterans Memorial Fields. These highly used fields are in south and central Kitsap County and see tens of thousands of visitors annually.

Trails
With over 6000 acres of green space, Kitsap County Parks are visited by thousands of people every year. Highly used trails include: Hansville Greenway, North Kitsap Heritage Park, Car-penter Lake Boardwalk, Point No Point Lighthouse trail, Newberry Hill Heritage Park, Guil-lemot Cove, Illahee Preserve, Banner Forest, South Kitsap Regional Park. Many of these trails have wildlife viewing platforms and some have interpretive trails.
Sponsor Signs can include Mile Markers, Kiosks, Interpretive Trails & Trail Naming Rights—$250-$1000 depending on option chosen.
Park Features
Picnic Shelters, Playgrounds, Amphitheaters, Gardens, benches, etc. Throughout Kitsap County, parks play an important role in building com-munity. From company picnics to family reunions, Kitsap County Parks are visited by tens of thousands of community members and area visitors each year.
