Kitten Mittens Ugly Sweater DIY

If your Facebook feed is filled with cat videos and your cat is a regular conversation starter, boy do I have an ugly Christmas sweater foryou. This design is the ultimate combo of ugly and cute. Here's how you can make your own!

Instructions:

Position your mittens on the front of your sweater vest.

Apply Aleene's Quick Dry Fabric Fusion to the back of the mittens.

Press them in place and let dry.

Sketch out your cat designs before you permanently add them to your shirt. I practiced lots of designs, then chose the ones she likedbest to add to the shirt. She then plotted out out which cat would go with each mitten. As you can see on the finished shirt, some of themittens had cat paws and tails coming out of them too!

Following the sketched design, I started drawing cats with the slick Tulip Dimensional Paints in brown.

On the top of each mitten, she doodled and filled in each cat paw. For each paw, she mixed up colors and finishes.

Add a fun red string detail around each of the cats. Have fun with it and make it look like each of the cats is playing with the string!

And here's how the finished designed turned out! Holy cats batman! Isn't it cute?
