RECTIFIER:-It is used to convert A.C. supply to D.C. supply.
FILTER:-
Filters are used for smoothing the D.C. output voltage from rectifier unit.
BLOCKER DIODES:-To get block the back feed from batteries to chargers, blockers diodes are connected inseries with filter output.
CHARGER:-Chargers are used to Charging the battery initially to keep the batteries trickle charged
and to mention the load in normal time.Modes of operation of charger

STATIC EXCITATION SYSTEM:-
Rectifier transformer.
Nos. of thyristor converters.
An automatic voltage regulator (AVR)
Field suppression equipment.
The function of excitation system is to supply required excitation current to field
winding at rated load condition of turbo Generator.

Principle: Electrodes at high voltage create a corona effect(ionized atmosphere) surrounding them. This charges the passing
particles. Once charged, particles are subject to a transverseelectrostatic force that pulls them toward the collecting plates.Plates are periodically rapped (vibrated) to make the collectedparticles fall down into a receiver basket

High collection efficiency is obtained on particles as small as 0.01micrometer and, with good maintenance collection efficiency isgreater than 99.5%.
Operating costs are low.
Large air volumes can be handled efficiently.
Particulate concentrate from 2.0 to 250,000 milligrams per cubicmeter can be handled.
Individual units can be removed from service for convenience incleaning.
