BBC Scotland NEXT- Opportunity for young people in Scotland to

shape the future of BBC Scotland

Aged 14-25 | Deadline for applications- Friday 8th December Over 18 months, a panel of 25 young people will work together with BBC

staff, to challenge the perception of young people both within our organisation and across wider society; and to help shape new and exciting

ideas for BBC television, radio, social media and websites. This will involve group work, residential weekends, time spent at our

centres across Scotland and some investigative work in your own time. Over the 18 months you will be expected to attend between six and eight

WORLD MISSION STAMP APPEAL 2017

The Giffen Institute of Theology (GIT) of the Presbyterian Church of South Sudan needs

books. Having recently relocated to Kakuma, a refugee camp in Kenya, GIT is looking to stock up its library for students. This year's

stamp appeal will help do just that.

Please hand your used stamps into the school office.

LGBT Awareness Project

LGBT history month is coming up and to celebrate that we will be running a competition.

Create a song or video to promote LGBT+ awareness around the school. The message should show

acceptance of everyone, equality among all and a good sense of community. The piece should be between 1 and 5 minutes long. All entries should be in by the 14th

of February.

House points are on offer for all entrees, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries will win additional prizes including cinema tickets. To sign up or if you want more information see Mr. Ehsan in M10.

DGS Learn to Succeed & JMA groups are collecting for EAST LOTHIAN FOOD BANK who help people in CRISIS. PLEASE help to make sure they have a Christmas dinner by donating food from the list to make up JINGLE BAGS. BOXES WILL BE IN THE SOCIAL SPACE FROM MONDAY
