PROGRAM PROCEDURES

NIGHT VISION LOAN PROGRAM ENROLLMENT

To obtain equipment through the program, your department will need to mail or fax arequest letter (on agency’s letterhead) statingthe type of equipment preferred, quantity, anda short synopsis stating how this equipmentwill be utilized in your department. Please include in your letter the information below that is requested for the loan program.NIGHT VISION LOAN PROGRAM

The Night Vision Loan Program was established to assist federal, state and local Law Enforcement Agencies in obtaining night vision equipment to accommodate yearly budget costs. The refurbished, military night vision equipment is leased out yearly for a feeof $300.00 per unit, per year. This includesrepairs or maintenance to the equipment ifit is required during the loan contract date. The program currently has the following nightvision systems available for loan toLaw Enforcement agencies: AN/PVS-5 (Gen. II) AN/PVS-11 (Gen.II) AN/PVS-11A (Gen.III) (If available) Catseye Monocular (Gen.III)
