Project Objectives Research for an MP3 player system that uses IDE Interface and USB

Research for a voice recognition software

Research a way to transmit our voice to the MP3 player from a distance

Analyze how Bluetooth or infrared technology functions and how data is received and transmitted

Understand how voice recognition software works

Extract transmitted data from the Bluetooth or infrared

Input extracted data to voice recognition software

Get the software and Bluetooth or infrared data to work in sync

Present a fully functioning MP3 player that will work with voice recognition and Bluetooth or infrared

6

Tasks

Come up with a suitable MP3 player design

Find an MP3 player that can be connected to a computer, has wireless remote capabilities, and also has voice recognition capabilities

Purchase parts and Test

7

Tasks (continued)

Add-on remote functionality to MP3 player

Test Remote Functionality

Choose Between Bluetooth and Infrared

Add-on Voice Recognition

Test Voice Recognition

Add-on Wireless Microphone Capabilities to Remote
