A4 grid provided. Consider the relationship and dialogue created between the objects depending on where they are placed and their orientation. Do you respond to the grid and become informed and controlled by it, or do you ignore or oppose it? Do you employ a basic organising strategy as well as the grid [e.g. balance, symmetry, hierarchy, and asymmetry.] Experiment with several versions before you decide on a final layout. Once you have a finalised a composition on the A4 grid, draw an accurate top view of the composition in black ink. Focus on positive and negative only using line and solid black ‘fill’ for the drawing.
