in USA calculated the emissions from electricity generation based off figures from the EPA’s (environment protection agency) eGRIDemission factors based on 2009 and 2012 data On average, Electricity sources emit 0.75 kg to 2.69 kg CO2 per kWh (depend on different fuel type & combustion type)
When a 100 watts of lamp is activated for 10 hours per-day in 365 days we can calculate the CO2 emission minimum as follows = 365 x 10 x 100 :1,000 x 0.75 = 274 kg of CO2
