Document Zoom

Step 1: On the View Tab click Zoom

Step 2: Choose the Zoom option from the pop up window

Document Zoom

One page zooms your document so one entire page fits on the screen

Two pages zooms your document so you can see two pages of the document at once

Page width changes the page zoom so the page fills the entire width of the application

Arranging Windows

Step 1: On the View Tab click Arrange All

Step 2: Word will automatically fit all open windows to your screen

Step 1: Click View then click New Window, this will open a second copy of the same document in a new window

Splitting Windows

Step 1: On the View Tab click Split

Step 2: Word will automatically split your screen allowing you to view separate parts of the same document

• Split the screen to view two sections of the document at the same time.• Click in the same location to turn split screen off

View Side by Side

Step 1: On the View Tab click View Side by Side

Step 2: Choose the document you want to compare to your current document and click ok

Step 3: Compare two versions of a document or two separate documents side by side.

Synchronous Scrolling

Step 1: After viewing two documents side by side, click on the View Tab click View Side by Side

Step 2: Scroll through the document, and both documents will scroll simultaneously

Switching Windows

Step 1: Click View then click Switch Window, and choose the open document you wish to view

Step 1: Click Review then choose Restrict Editing

Step 2: Choose your type of restrictions from the options

Step 3: Click Yes, Start Enforcing Protection

(You can also click File> Info> Restrict Editing to complete this process in Backstage View)

Step 1: Click File > Info> Protect Document

Step 1: Click Encrypt with Password

Step 1: Click File > Info> Protect Document
