Thinking About Thinking: Getting Students Ready for Their Future
Ron Nash LFCC Corron Building
Thursday August 2, 2012 8:30-2:30
The brain is built to make connections and solve problems, and the brain needs a good workout. This workshop will show teachers and administrators ways to put students in continuous-improvement mode using 21st century communication, collaborative, and critical-thinking skills. Speaking of a good workout, put on your sneakers, grab a pen, and join Ron Nash for a day devoted to moving kids up the Bloom scale and into a place that will make them better students, employees, and citizens. As always, Ron will model everything and have participants standing, moving, communicating, collaborating...and having fun in the process. Don't miss this high-energy, practical, and enjoyable day of learning. Target Audience: Teachers, Principals, and Administrators Location: LFCC Middletown Campus
Corron Building Time: 8:30-2:30
About our Presenter:
Ron's highly interactive seminars use humor, music, storytelling, structured discussion and movement to model ways teachers can involve students in their own learning. He has spent the last 35 years in education and has presented before thousands of teachers, administrators, teacher assistants, and substitute teachers.
Communication Specific Flyers will be emailed in February.
