How do I make an appointment to see my counselor?

Stop by the Student Office before school, during lunch, or after school to make an appointment. Mrs. Oranen or Mrs. Van Halderen will help you schedule an appointment.

What can I talk about with my counselor?

Here are some ways where a counselor can be helpful:• Personal and social support• Academic challenges, tutoring resources• Academic planning, credit retrieval• Decision making• Crisis, grief, loss• Conflict resolution, mediation• Career and life planning• College and post-secondary options/planning

Is what I share with my counselor confidential?

• What you choose to share is confidential as long as there is not concern that you might cause harm to yourself or others. There are other instances in which a counselor may need to share information. You and your counselor can clarify these instances.

$10/adult and $5/student All LC families are invited!

• Homecoming Football Game- 7:30 p.m. @ Joe Albi Stadium

Saturday, October 25:• Homecoming Dance- 8:00-11:00 p.m. @ LC Field House• “Dancing in the Rain” tickets are on sale this week in the main hall.

$25/couple and $15/single. Don’t procrastinate because ticket prices double if you try to buy them at the door!

It takes a little more to be a tiger…including participating in

homecoming activities!
