• The LIGHTPATHTM SLS9000 unit was developed by PhotoSynergy Ltd (PSL) as a subsea lighting system which provides multi-diver route identification

• A three output channel version of the SLS5000, it was designed primarily to illuminate saturation excursion dive umbilicals for both divers and the bellmen

• It has three colours – green, blue and white – with an option of red for near surface operation or deck-type applications

• The SLS9000 has been in operation in the North Sea for two years to depths of 500m

• It can be retrofitted to existing umbilicals and at 5mm diameter is afforded significant protection from the other hoses and cables in the umbilical

• The SLS9000 can be hard or flexibly mounted and connected/disconnected from power and umbilicals in less than three minutes
