because it is tackling the issue of HIV, this makes it very realistic to the viewers that this is a consequence of what he is rapping about.

•The video describes the woman as someone who has no respect for herself and having her just sitting in the street shows a stereo typical prostitute which it also describes in the song.

Mise en scene - Setting•Once the girl who is being sung about having gone down the wrong path it shows her after her turning her life around and how it should be in ways of getting married, doing a collage course and graduating from collage.

Mise en scene - Costume•The costume in this video really represents the girl that is being spoken about in the song, someone who doesn’t know how to love so will just do anything to get money or attention.

•This is showing a contrast between the girl that is shown at the start of the video and the end showing how she has gone from being a stripper and someone who doesn’t care about her appearance to a much classier person all together.

Mise en scene - Lighting• Every time the artists is in the spotlight usually the artist is very lit and attractive to the audience but because he is being the narrator it keeps him in the dark because in the video the female is the main person to be watched because she is acting out the story.

•When looking at the main character of the video is always in the light but there is a contrast from when she is seen as a mess and someone who is not doing well in life and it is dark and then when she is a success its in a lighter setting.

Mise en scene – Make Up• the make up on the girl who is acting as the stripper as very cheap and unnatural which shows her trying to make more of an effort than is needed for her to look good.

• when she is changed into the successful woman and has become more natural and looks nicer and cleaner and more upper class.

Camera Angles• this camera angle is focusing on the baby because the child is the most important person in the shot, this shows that when the baby should be the most important person in the situation but because she is being beaten up in the back the baby is just being left to cry.

• in this shot it shows the man in the background before he forces sex on the young girl and this shot shows him looking at his ‘pray’.

Editing•The editing in the music video is very natural and isn't noticeable the only thing that can be picked up in terms of editing is the number of cuts which happens many times during the song, this is usually happening when it is going from Lil Wayne to the main actress to show her progression throughout the song.
