Location Scout

Location Number 1

The first place I’ve decided to use for my location is Cheshunt Park.

This is because it is an open land space and has many acres of field.

This will be used for shots 1, 2, 3, 10.

Reason

I used the open field because the character seen in the field is what will be focused on mostly. I want the audience to look at the character only and so in the middle of a field there will be nothing else to look at apart from the character.

Location Number 2

The second location is in Louise’s House.

I’ve used multiple elements of louise’s house including her front room and her bedroom.

I’ve used her bedroom as its her bed is sturdy to stand on and needed for certain shots.

I’ve used her front room as the table found within it is very basic.

The shots her house will be used in are:

6, 8, 11, 15, 17, 19, 20, 26, 28, 30, 31, 33, 34.

Reason

Louise house is good to use as it’s a fair size to work in, it also allow the audience to have a feel of what the characters house hold is like and how she is compared to other people such as the posters on the wall are probably not seen in other teenage bedrooms.

Location Number 3

Infront of Louise’s house.

The infront bit of her house it’s a small grass space which has a hill, this ables us to use other camera angles and is a local spot.

Shots it’ll be used in:

4, 5, 7, 13, 14, 16, 21, 24, 27, 32.

Reason

I used this green patch as there are a variety of trees around it which can signify the surrounding around the character which are seen as a shield to protect her.

Location 4

Valence Drive,

I will use this road for mainly my tracking shots.

This is because this road isn’t massively busy in the afternoon/evening and the road is straight.

Shots this location will be used in:

9, 18, 29, 35

Reason

The road is easy to use as its an empty road most of the time and can also show a suicidal route the girl may take.

Location 5

Location 5 will be set in Turnford School as they’ve got a guillotine which I can use.

This is going to be used to show one of the lyrics.

This’ll be used in shot 12.

Reason

This room will be used to show part of the lyric off.

Location 6

Location 6 is my house.

This is because I’ll be using my bath to show one part of the lyrics.

Shots:

22, 23,

Reason

I will use the bath due to the fact it links back to the lyrics, this is the reason I will use it.

Location 7

The 7th Location will be located in Brookfield Lane West/ Whitefields park.

This is because they’ve going railings going across the park splitting the road and the park up.

This’ll be used in the shots:

This location also links back to the lyrics which is why its being used.
