complete movement controlWith Locomote 90, switching-yard person-nel can operate driverless locomotives in the freight yard. They can easily control the locomotive with a joystick on the Loco-mote transmitter, which is positioned on the front of their bodies in a comfortable carrier. Using Locomote, the operator runs and stops the locomotive, maintaining full control of the train’s movement.
Flexible solutionsInside the locomotive, a receiver communi-cates with the train’s control system. Our adaptable receiver allows us to inte-grate with the control systems available on the market.
safe and efficientThanks to locomotive remote control, switching is safer and more efficient compared to manual switch-ing, which requires at least two people. Locomote minimises the risks of accidents due to
crushing or slipping, and reduces repetitive strain injuries due to climbing up and down from the operating cabin.
standard or tailoredThe Locomote 90 system comes complete with transmitter, receiver and charger, and is available in a standard model or tailored to enable customer-specific functions.

Locomote 90 — Receiver
Inside the locomotive, a receiver communicates with the train’s control system. Our adaptable receiver
allows us to customise it for the control systems available on the market. The receiver is designed to
withstand demanding environments with tough elements such as impacts and knocks, large tempera-
ture fluctuations, dust, oil and humidity. The coding unit is a radio transmitter used to connect the trans-
mitter to the receiver. The connection and coding procedure must be done every time the transmitter
has been powered off, or when an automatic stop has occured. The article numbers on the Locomote
90 receivers are customer specific.
The coding unit has a LED indicator that shows when coding is com-plete. The connection cable to the receiver is 2.5m long.
