What is ECOTRU F
• Active ingredient: Pediococcus Pentosaceus 1.0 x 1010
C.F.U./kg
• Registration No. 01 04 54 0446
• Researched, developed and marketed by IMS WORLDWIDE
• Produced by GMP, HACCP Certified Factory
• Stability: 1 Years after production
(Two months storage at 40 oC, 1 year at 25 oC,
two years and at 4 oC met the minimum specification)
• Toxicity: None, P. Pentosaceus Classified as
Generally Recognized as safe bacteria, GRAS
Status and no antibiotic resistance was detected
(Source: EFSA)
www.themegallery.com
What is P.Pentosaceus?• Produce Lactic acid and Pediocins• Control gram negative bacteria such as Vibrio cholerae, E. coli, Salmonella sp. Etc• Control gram positive bacteria such as Clostridium botulinum, C. perfiengens,
Staphylococcus aureus etcGram-negative
- Salmonella
- E. coli
- Pseudomonas
- Vibrio cholerae
Gram-Positive
- Clostridium botulinum
- Cl. Perfiengens
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Listeria monocytogens
Edens et al. (1997) the colonization of lactic acid bacteria in the chickens intestinal tract apparently controls the population of pathogenic microorganisms such
as Salmonella spp., Enterococci and E. Coli.
Lactic acid bacteria produce significant amounts of bacterial growth inhibitory substances such as Pediocin. Pediocin has a broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity
that has proven to inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and protozoa.

Factors for the growth of P.Pentosaceus
Acid/Base (pH): Suitable pH 3.5 – 8.5
Temperature: Suitable temperature for growth at
20-45 0C and not higher than 600C
O2 Level : P.Pentosaceus in Ecotru can developed both in
aerobic and anaerobic condition but adding O2 can
Increase the growing performance: dissolved O2 in
water more than 1.5 mg/liter
Density: Ecotru 2-10 mg / liter of water (ppm)
Fermentation period: 30 minutes after mixing with water can be used but
fermentation during 8-12 hours before using is
recommended

4 Reasons of ECOTRU F for Broilers
• Reduce ammonia, H2S and undesired odor in air, water
and environment.
• Reduce problem of foot-pad dermatitis, skin lesion in
broiler,
• Improve performance index, ADG, FCR in broiler and
swine
• For more benefit

How to Use Ecotru F
• Application rate: 200-250 gram per 1,000 m2 by mixing with 20-of for
reduce ammonia 40 liters water and minimum time to dissolve and
foot-pad dermatitis more than 30 minutes (recommend 8-12
hours) and skin lesion before spraying on the floor at the
day 10, 20, 30 of broiler age.
• For Drinking to improve 100 gram per 2,000 liter of drinking water
production performance
• To treat wastewater Day 1-3, apply Ecotru F 10, 5, 2 gram per
1,000 liter of wastewater and 1 gram per 1,000 liter of
wastewater after day 3

E. coli population before and after Microorganism Treatment in the Sewage
management Plant in Naha City, Japan.
Higa (1995), 30 days after treating the waste water in the Gushikawa City Library,
(Okinawa) with Microorganism, E. coli levels were undetectable, dropping from
8500 ppm to 0 ppm. EM was used in a solution of 1 : 1000 Microorganism/waste
water.
ECOTRU F reduces contamination pathogenic bacteria so it can reduce using antibiotic

Anjum et al., (1996) reported greater bursa and thymus index in commercial broiler chicken supplemented with microorganism through drinking water and feed.
Antibody geometric mean titre (GMT) against Newcastle disease vaccine virus was
6.5 times in broilers given microorganism in drinking water,
3.85 times in broilers given microorganism feed

Mixing ECOTRU F in Feed Mixing ECOTRU F 100 per 1,000 kg of feed by following this
process:
Mix ECOTRU โ 100 gram per 10 litre of water and ferment for
8-12 hours
Mix dissolved ECOTRU F in the feed by spray or mix with dried feed
(Dilute ECOTRU F in water before mixing with dried feed shows the
better performance than mixing ECOTRU Fin powder form with
dried feed)

Ammonia and Clinical signs
About AmmoniaAbout Ammonia
• Ammonia is the most common poison in the pig's environment.
• Generally ammonia levels are less than 5ppm in well run pig houses.
• The human respiratory tract can detect levels at around 10ppm.
• Levels of 50 to 100ppm affect performance, daily gain which may be reduced by up to 10% during prolonged periods of exposure.
• At levels of 50ppm and above the clearance of bacteria from the lungs is also impaired and therefore the animal is more prone to respiratory disease.
Clinical signsClinical signs Increased coughing and respiratory rates, Irritation of the mucosa lining the respiratory tract Increased incidence of pneumonia. Restless, uncomfortable Increased levels of vice, such as tail biting, ear biting and flank chewing
