This fun course is designed for young learners. The emphasis is on spoken English and communication. Imaginative activities and group project work encourage speaking and rapid learning and there is a visit to a local place of interest or sports on Friday afternoon in Hyde Park.
While their children are at school, parents and other family members have the option of taking a course at Frances King. Our adult programmes focus on spoken English and there is also concentrated language skills practice.

London Family ProgrammeFamily study holiday in the heart of London. Courses for children aged 6-16 and optional courses for parents and other family members. We can arrange accommodation in homestays, studios and apartments and the whole family can enjoy an activity programme. Programmes available in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

LOCATION Parents and their children study in the same locations. The summer programme takes place in our Belgravia school, near Victoria station. The winter, spring and autumn programmes take place in our Kensington school, opposite Gloucester Road station.
AGES Children of ages 6-16 are accepted. A parent or guardian of a 6 year old must also take a programme or remain in the school during lesson times.The minimum age for adult in charge is 21.
PRIVATE LESSONS AND MINI GROUPS
After group classes, we can also arrange private lessons for children, to concentrate on a particular skill or language area. We can also offer private lessons and Mini Group tuition for children at other times of the year. Please ask for more details.
TRINITY SPOKEN ENGLISH TEST Children and adults on a course of 2 weeks or more in the summer have the option to take a Trinity Spoken English test, an internationally recognised examination, suitable for all levels.
YOUR FREE TIME Classes are in the mornings - families are free in the afternoons to enjoy London’s many attractions and to take part in a special activity programme, 2 or 3 days a week.

LOCATION Children and parents can enjoy studying in a 17th century Georgian building with modern teaching facilities in the heart of the city centre. The school location, either in Merrion Square or a nearby annex, is the perfect spot to discover Dublin with your family.

London Teenager ProgrammesUnique campus in Kensington, central London, for teenagers aged 12-17. As well as English language, students choose a theme, Discover London, Fashion, Art & Design or Sports Fan and some classes and activities match their interest. Accommodation is on campus and there is a day school only for students in London with their family.

STUDENTSMost students are individuals. A limited number of small groups may be accepted.
TRINITY SPOKEN ENGLISH TESTStudents on a course of 2 weeks or more have the option to take a Trinity Spoken English test, an internationally recognized examination, suitable for all levels.

Students live on campus in a multi-storey residence. There are 11 single rooms per floor with separate male and female floors. One or two staff members stay on each floor. There is Wi-Fi throughout. Each room has a wash basin and Internet point. Showers and toilets are shared. All meals are taken on campus except excursion day. There is a choice of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner, including a vegetarian option and other special diets such as gluten free. Halal meat is available.
Tuition and afternoon activities as for the residential programme, 6 days a week, without accommodation. Lunch is included. Dinner can be arranged as an extra. Students should be dropped off at 8.30 and collected again at 17.45 or after dinner, from Monday to Saturday.

• Optional Young Leader workshop once every two weeks
• Action-packed activity programme
• For the residential programme an evening activities on and off campus including visits to shopping centres and West End shows
• Weekly full day excursions take place in the London area or nearby where there is a wealth of attractions such as a river trip to Greenwich and a bus or train journey to Windsor or Brighton
FREE TIME Students aged 16 and 17, with parental permission, may leave the campus in pairs or small groups after dinner until evening activities start.

LOCATION• Superb school located in the
beautiful coastal village of Dalkey in South County Dublin
• Dalkey is an urban oasis on the east coast of Ireland just half an hour by DART train to Dublin city centre. A warm welcoming atmosphere awaits you there
• With its castles, panoramic scenery, markets, hills, cafes and restaurants, this picturesque village is extremely safe and perfect to place young international learners

• Classrooms overlook the spectacular coastline and there are excellent sporting facilities

English language and a full sports and cultural activity programme. Accommodation is with welcoming homestays nearby and there is a day school only for students in Dublin with their family.
Students stay with carefully selected host families in Dalkey and surrounding villages. Many of our host families are walking distance to the school. If they are not Frances King will provide a travel card for the student. There is a maximum of 3 students per host family. No student will be placed with another student of the same nationality unless requested. Families provide full board to the students with a packed lunch on afternoons when there are activities. Students live as part of the family for the duration of their stay.
Tuition and afternoon activities on 5 days a week (Monday to Friday, 9.00-17.00) with a full day excursion by coach at the weekend.

TEENAGER PROGRAMME The programme consists of:
• English Language Programme of 20 lessons a week with a focus on spoken English
• One afternoon a week there is a Young Leader workshop including team building, public speaking, presenting ideas and debating
• Afternoon sporting and cultural activities and one evening activity
• A full day excursion every weekend to a place of interest
WEEKLY EXCURSION Every weekend, students go on a full day excursion by coach to a place of interest outside Dublin including Kilkenny, Powerscourt Gardens and Waterfall and Glendalough
FREE TIME In the evenings students socialise with their host families or together in small groups in the village. We offer 24 hour support to all our students.
YOUNG LEADER Choose our exciting Young Leader workshop on one afternoon per week from
