The Mayor’s commitment
Run a mini competition to select an Energy Service Company (ESCo) to carry out the works
and guarantee energy savings
Payback of the investment is guaranteed with the delivery risk transferred to the ESCo
Identify buildings to retrofit, set a target energy saving and payback period
RE:FIT allows public bodies to make substantial cost savings, reduce energy bills and the carbon footprint of their buildings

• Your funding requirement is between £1m and £20m

You can access loans of up to 10 years and interest rates from 1.65% if:
• Opportunity to make substantial energy and carbon savings
• Savings are guaranteed
• An easy to use, free to access framework that is OJEU compliant

• The Programme Delivery Unit is funded and provided at no cost to support public sector organisations in London
