Looking back at your Preliminary task, what do you feel you have

learnt in the progression from it to the full

product?

Looking back at my Preliminary task I feel my knowledge of using InDesign has expanded. I have learnt where each tool is on InDesign and I have learnt more techniques such as viewing my magazine as it would be shown on my blog. I have learnt how to download fonts from ‘Da.font’ and how to find them in InDesign. The most important thing I have learnt is how to make my work look professional and how to make it appeal to my target audience. I feel I have learnt to design my page layout to make my pages look packed and exiting. Since creating my college magazine I have go into more depth when researching magazines. Since the Preliminary task the complexity of my layout has increased.

Overall my knowledge about software has improved throughout this project. I have learnt new techniques and skills that have helped me create a professional looking music magazine.
