Ra.One : a 2011 Hindi science fiction superhero film Shahrukh khan’s biggest venture ever Budget : 150+ Crore ( the second-most expensive film ever produced in Indian cinema )

Almost 3 years spent on making of Ra.One .

Technologies used: - VFX ( Visual Effect Artist ) - 3D

52 crore spent only for marketing.

“ Most awaited movie of the year “

“ The best India has ever seen [and] on par with Hollywood “

“ Longest promotion in Bollywood history “

“ The most comprehensive and all-pervasive among people's lives “

Ra.One was already declared

The film released across 3,100 screens in India and 904 prints overseas in both 2D and 3D, and also in Tamil and Telugu, making it the largest Indian cinematic release in the world.

World premieres in Dubai, London  & Toronto  were held during the period of October 24-26. Everyone was wondering that will Ra.one break the box-office records or not ?

The most awaited film of year 2011, fails to touch the heart of Indian audience.

The film had a great opening due to - fantastic publicity drive - record number of prints - increased ticket prices due to 3D.

Negative word of mouth and reviews immediately took the film's collections down in the second week.

Making Of Film

Ra.One is directed by Anubhav Sinha and written by Sinha and Kanika Dhillon.

The film stars Shahrukh khan, Kareena kapoor and Armaan Verma in the lead roles and Arjun Rampal as the titular antagonist.

And also support Shahana Goswami, Dalip Tahil ,Tom Wu, Rajinikanth, Sanjay Dutt and Priyanka Chopra.

Story Of Ra.one is from RAMAYAN.

H.A.R.T. (Hertz Amplifying Resonance Transmitter) in Ra.one is nothing but

an Arc Reactor from IRON MAN series.

Main Part Of Film Is Visual Effect And 3D Graphics.Visual Effects And 3D Graphics

One-third of the film's production budget was utilized for its visual effects.

A number of studios were involved in the creation of the effect shots in the film. 1,200 artists from 16 studios worked in three shifts to incorporate the film's visual effects. Two-and-a-half years of work was put into the special effects aspects of the film.

Costumes

It was a major challenge to create costume for G.ONE.

The body suits worn by Khan and Rampal were designed by special effects designers Robert Kurtzman and Tim Flattery.

Each suit reportedly cost 1 crore. - Khan's suit was made of reinforced latex and was steel-blue in

color.- Rampal's suit was made of three-inch thick solid rubber, and was

red in color.

•First the ra.one face was completely different that nobody seen before.

•If we do not finalize ra.one face in fix time than we do not published the film at a time.

•2 month left the publish the film, 300 artist work on ra.one face.

• And finally ra.one has face. With wire and cubic face. It was very different.
