1. Now that the initial installation is complete, now we would need to setup the domain in the Windows hosts file.

a. Goto C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etcb. Open the hosts filec. Add a new entry with the IP address from the above screenshot and the hostname that

you had provided at the beginning of the VirtualBox import – in this case, it is hcm92.ps.com

2. Access http://hcm92.ps.com:8000/ps/signon.html, if you can see the below page and able to login as well, congratulations! Your PIA is up and running

Note: Here, replace hcm92.ps.com with your hostname and use PS/PS for logging in

3. You can access the Samba folder by just providing your VM’s IP address in the run prompt: \\192.168.2.103

4. Installing Application Designer Client and Oracle 12c Clienta. Now, to run the PT script, you would have to map your Samba shared folder to a

network driveb. To map a drive to your Samba folder:c. Click ThisPC in Windows Explorer > File tab > Map Network drived. Click on browse

5. Note : Your Samba shared folder \\192.168.2.103 should be available as a network folder. If it is not available, please turn on Network Sharing and discovery from Network Connections

6. Click Finish

7. Login to command prompt as an administratora. Type net use Z: \\192.168.2.103\tools_clientb. Enter Yc. Type cd /d Z: to change directory to your Samba Shared Folder

8. Type SetupPTClient.bat and press the enter key

9. Once the batch script completes execution successfully, from the network folder(Samba Shared folder), get the tnsnames.ORA file and paste it in the Oracle client folder

C:\oracle\product\12.1.0\client_1\network\admin

10. Click on Configuration Manager from the Start menua. Enter database name as HR92U016b. User ID as PSc. Connect ID as peopled. Connect password as peop1e

11. Check all boxes as applicable and click Apply and then OK

12. Launch Application Designer from Start menu

If you can access Application Designer now, Perfect!

13. Now, let’s configure SQL developer for Oracle 12ca. Launch SQL developer from the start menub. Username and password - SYSADM

SQL developer is ready as well! Let the coding begin!

14. If you need to setup Putty and WinSCP, the host name is 192.168.2.103

15. Enter the root user name and password
