The Mission of Fairfield High School, working in collaboration with the home and community, is to instill in all students the desire and skills for academic, character, and social development. This is provided in a safe and nurturing environment that is respectful of each student’s learning style, potential, and cultural diversity in order to cultivate responsible and productive citizens for the future.

I hope that everyone found the time to relax and get rejuvenated over the winter holiday. Our students, staff, and community have had much to celebrate as we’ve welcomed in the New Year.

I would like to share some information with you about our new school-based health center that recently opened. Primary Health Solutions, a Butler County based organization that operates

federally qualified health centers, has partnered with the Fairfield City School District, OneSight, Interact for Health, Butler Behavioral Health Services, and the Delta Dental Foundation to provide access to primary medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health services to students, their family members and school district staff. The center is the first fully integrated suburban school-based provider in the United States. The center is now accepting patients. If you are interested, please go to http://www.myprimaryhealthsolutions.org for more information.

The Fairfield Choraliers, Pure Elegance, Rhythm Express, their parents, and alumni are proud to present the eighteenth annual Fairfield Crystal Classic at Fairfield High School on March 19th. If you have not seen show choirs before, I highly recommend you come see the amazing performers onstage, especially our own Fairfield students.

We look forward to maintaining our tradition of excellence at FHS, and we are so thankful for the support we receive from our wonderful community. If you should ever have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Billy Smith
