How to set up your own

Open up

an internet browser

Go tohttp://www.logmein.com/

You will see this screen

On the right hand side of the screen,

there’s a log in section.

Click the link below which says, Create an Account.

You will see this screen

Select the box which says, Access Computers

Remotely.

To create an account, enter your email

address and create a password.

You will have to enter your password twice to

ensure that it is correct.

Note:

Make sure to use a strong password here.

Select your Country by clicking the small

triangle.

The 2 bottom check boxes are optional.

Now Click on Continue.

You will see this screen

Note: Read the red marked box.

To install, click the Download button.

They will ask you to log in with your new LMI

account.

Pls check your email and verify your

account.

You will need to follow the the link to complete

the set up.

It will open to a new window and this will

appear.

Now click the Download Button.

Your screen should appear like this.

Your internet protection may cause this Security Warning to appear, Click

Run.

Click Next

Click Next

After reading the License Agreement, Click I Agree.

Click TYPICAL

Enter a short description of your computer. Then

click NEXT.

Click Next

Create an access code to protect your

computer.Click Next.

Note:

The code should be at least 8 characters long and hard to guess but easy to remember.

Enter your LMI account details in the space

provided.

Click Next

Select product type.Choose LogMeIn Free.

Choose a folder where you want your LogMeIn to

be installed.

Click

This is where you select a folder. Click OK if you’re

done.

Your screen may flicker during the installation

process.

The window should appear like this when the

Setup is complete.

You will see the LogMeIn icon near the

time display.

Click on the icon to open this program.

Try remote access from a nearby computer,

And see how LogMeIn remote access looks and feels in action!
