‘Twas the night before the holidays and the marketer was at his desk…

…thinking about next year’s campaign – he wanted to make it THE BEST.

He hummed and he hawed, then felt a shiver ever so near.

It came from a shadowy figure holding a can of…beer?

“I am the ghost of marketing past,” he stumbled and said.“Do you remember all of those good times we had?”

“Book some TV, print and radio – then you’re gone…

The ghost of marketing past continued and shouted,“It was all about us – we spoke and the masses nodded.”

“Quit your whining!” came a thunderous roar.

Then, out of nowhere, there came a blinding spark.

It was as if the light ripped a hole in the dark.
