What is the Chinese Hot Pot?
It originated from Mongolia, where its people primarily cooked meat; such as mutton... Now, there are regional variations, so it’s arguable, as to what should ideally be in a Hot Pot (hottopotto.com).
Where did it originate from?
If you’re cold + hungry this makes sense... It was, a method for people in Northern China to cope with the cold climate after all.
It’s good for simple social parties with family, and friends! And if you don’t like fancy or wild parties this would be ideal choice.
You would have a good spread to choose from and never feel like there’s not enough food!

The Chinese emperors built the Great Wall of China to keep the invaders, but the
allure of the simmering broth had already won them over. Hot Pot became one of
China’s signature dishes and Mongolian Hot Pot traveled further than the Mongols
themselves ever did.
Today, families and friends throughout Asia still gather around steaming hot pot to
celebrate, socialize, and escape from the winter chill. Like a backyard barbecue,
hot pot is much a social event as is an excuse to fire up the charcoal. The meal can
and should last for hours. A leisurely pace, good company, and lively conversation
are as important as the cooking and eating.

Hot Pot is easy to prepare, the ingredients can be cheap to get. If someone were to operate a small business (i.e. Hot Pot restaurant). They would likely to choose Hot Pot, because not only can they eat different kinds of food, but it’s enjoyable at the same time.
Economics
Hot Pot is simple yet it has a years of history. It’s nothing special, but it’s an idea that Chinese people incorporated as part of their meals... So how many people know about the Chinese Hot Pot?
