organisational settings; provide participants with skills to evaluate the contribution of HRM to the solution of individual and organisational performance problems; and increase the awareness of all participants of the Australian and international HRM environment.
PathwaysGraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management – 1 semester full-time (4 units)
Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management – 1 year full-time (8 Units)
Further studyThe Master of Human Resource Management (Advanced) is a two-year program for students wanting to include a research component in their degree.
Master of Human Resource Management
The design of the program recognises the barriers that once existed between specialists in training, industrial relations, organisational development, and selection and recruitment are quickly disappearing in modern organisations. Issues such as enterprise bargaining, diversity, globalisation, multi-skilling, occupational health and safety, EEO, inclusiveness and employee involvement are forcing practitioners to take an integrated, strategic view of HRM. The Master of Human Resource Management degree reflects this enhanced role for human resource professionals and line managers.
