Suggestions Regarding The Summer Packet-★ Pace Yourself

★ DON’T DO IT THE FIRST NIGHTPick a Start Date-Available on School Website

● Use everyday items to teach measurement, addition, subtraction, fractions, geometry

● Cook or bake with your child allowing students to measure ingredients-take it further by having them double the recipe

● Take them shopping, teach them about money by having them figure out the change expected back

● Create a schedule, use a digital and analog clock to teach time● I spy - identify shape, size, color, quantity, comparison● Estimate the cost of the bill when you go out to eat
