The main goalof the project is to attract people tothe church and serve as aconnecting point for the youth ministry of the church. Ross built a façade of a cabin to looklike a ranger station inside of his church where students can meet and connect.Ross says, “Scouting has helped me to understand that life isn’t easy and it’s going to befilled with failures and setbacks, but accomplishing the Eagle rank showed me that there issomething to look forward to in the struggle. Enduring struggle is how I grow the most asa person.”Ross is currently a senior at Silver Creek High School and he is a member of the NationalHonors Society.
