printBuilding service equipment for climate protection – an initiative of tab
Dealing with climate change and reducing greenhouse gas emissions cannot be overstated in its importance. The real estate sector is regarded as a key factor in climate protection in this context. It is well known that buildings are responsible for around one third of CO2 emissions; yet at the same time there is enormous potential in using energy-efficient systems in the field of building service equipment, something that can be exploited with a manageable amount of expenditure and using existing technolo-gies.
tab - the technical medium of the building services industry has always dealt with the topics of CO2 reduction, energy efficiency, resource conservation and sustainability. These aspects will, however, be the top benchmark for the selection of editorial content in the future. As a result, tab will become the platform for the building services industry showing what we can actively contribute to climate protection. We certainly cannot and will not look at every article through „climate protection glasses“, but we will work out the aspects mentioned and present them prominently wherever possible. The specially created logo with the claim „building service equipment for climate protection - an initiative of tab“ will be the eye-catcher highlighting future topics in this context in the tab.
Support the tab editorial staff in this important project! Get in touch with us and let us know about your energy-efficient products, your own measures for reducing green-house gas emissions, your best-practice examples, etc. Let us contribute to combating climate change together with the resources at our disposal!
