MEDIO AMBIENTEENVIRONMENT
2
ENVIRONMENT
The European Union has defined the environment as “ the combination of elements whose complex interrelationship make up the settings, the surroundings and conditions of life, the individual and of society, as they are or as they are felt”.
The environment thus, includes the man-made environment, the natural environment and all natural resurces including air, land and water. It also includes the surroundings of the workplace.
3
écologie ökologie ecología ecology
Science that studies the
relationships of living beings
among themselves and
with the environment
4
HABITAT HABITAT HABITAT LEBENSRAUM
Area where a kind of living beings live. This area presents a series of certain geophysical conditions.
5
ECOSYSTEM ECOSISTEMAÉCOSYSTÈME ÖKOSYSTEM
System formed by a community of living beings and their physical environment.
6
ESPACIOS NATURALES PROTEGIDOS PROTECTED NATURAL AREASZONES NATURELLES PROTÉGÉESNATURSCHUTZGEBIETE
Administrative demarcations established with the aim of
promoting the conservation of that area.
7
DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENTDÉVELOPPEMENT DURABLENACHHALTIGE ENTWICKLUNG
Development that ensures the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to satisfy their own needs.
8
RECURSOS NATURALES RESSOURCES NATURELLES NATÜRLICHEN RESSOURCEN NATURAL RESOURCES
Natural resources are those provided by
nature and unaltered by humans. They are valuable for men: raw materials, minerals,
food, etc..
9
REPOBLACIÓN REPLEUPLEMENT BEVÖLKERUNG REFORESTATION
Process by which living beings are reintroduced in an area in which they have disappeared
for different reasons.
10
RECICLAJE RECYCLAGE RECYCLING RECYCLING
Process by which we make use of waste products. In this way we avoid accumulation and pollution.
11
MUTATION MUTACIÓNMUTATIONMUTATION
Cambios en el material hereditario
(A.D.N.) de un ser vivo
12
ENERGÍAS RENOVABLES RENEWABLE ENERGY ÉNERGIES RENOUVELABLES ERNEVERBAR ENERGIEN
Energías obtenidas de la naturaleza. Esto es muy importante pues no se
agotan, y además no contaminan
13
CRIME CONTRE L´ENVIRONNMENT ECOLOGICAL CRIMEDELITO ECOLÓGICOUMWELTKRIMINALITÄT
Cualquier acción que atente contra
el medio ambiente. Por ejemplo:
vertederos ilegales, tráfico de
especies, contaminación del mar, ríos, aire,etc..
14
unas concentraciones determinadas. Un
cambio en la salinización puede
provocar la muerte de seres vivos .
17
BIOACCUMULATION BIOACUMULACIÓN BIOACCUMULATION BIOAKKUMULATION
The term refers to the bioaccumulation; that is, the
accumulation through the ages of metals and other substances.
Such acummulation can have two sources: biotic (other living
beings) and abiotic (sun, air and water).
18
RESIDUOS RESIDUES RÉSIDUS RÜCKSTAND
19
20
SMOG SMOG SMOG SMOG
Smog: coinage formed by the union of the words “smoke” and “fog”. It is a form of air pollution arising from the combination of stagnant air and certain pollutants.
21
LLUVIA ÁCIDA
PLUIE ACIDE SAURE REGEN ACID RAIN
seres vivos.
23
KIMAWAUDEL CAMBIO CLIMÁTICOCHANGEMENT CLIMATIQUE GLOBAL WARMING
Cambios en los parámetros climáticos:
temperatura, precipitaciones,
etc. Siempre han existido por
causas naturales, pero
en la actualidad, la acción del
hombre sobre la naturaleza ha
provocado unos cambios rápidos
y nocivos.
24
MÉTAUX LOURDS METALES PESADOS SCHULERMETALLE HEAVY METALS
25
PESTICIDAS PESTICIDES PESTICIDES PESTICIDES
Conjunto de productos
químicos usados para acabar con algunas plagas.
Suelen ser productos tóxicos para otros seres
vivos.
26
RECUERDA REMEMBER
We have to look after nature
Stop pollutio
n
Es necesario pensar en la naturaleza
No contamines
Think of your children
Piensa en tus hijos
A green world is very important
Un mundo verde es muy importante
