I would like to thank the MENA & IQPC for inviting me to participate in this Gas Processing Summit.

Also, I would like to thank the sponsor and the organizer of this event.

My special thanks go to Qatar Petroleum (QP), and to all of the vendors, contractors with whom I worked with, serving the Energy and Industry sector in Qatar.

Under the wise leadership of His Highness the Emir, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar has not only emerged as one of the leading oil and gas producing nation, but has become a knowledge hub and a powerful knowledge-based economy, peace and prosperity.

For the past five (5) years, I was busy developing techniques and technology to capture the suspended humidity in the air to produce water which is required to develop the desert into a productive green field.

I would like to draw briefly to you my focus during the past 35 years in the field of Oil and Gas.

During the last three (3) years, while working with QP, I was the Manager of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Department, QP representative and QP Team Leader for United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) I have learned more about the climate change issues.

My ideas and experiences in this field were disseminated to QP Team which was implemented

I acquired my Degree in Chemical Engineering and proceed to my Master Degree in Gas Engineering and Management to support my duties and responsibilities as Gas Processing Manager, where I have gained knowledge and expertise, work experience, technical awareness and skills in communicating with national and international clients utilizing modern technologies.

During my working period in the Gas Processing Department, safety, operation and maintenance were my concern and priorities.My policy was dedicated to enhance the level of preparedness in the working group to create the expected level of alarm and to prevent any technical danger which can result from any related incident damage to human lives and facilities.

Preventing accident from happening, by creating mental awareness and readiness to stop any technical error within the gas processing premises, therefore, we applied transparency, continuous communication with all employees at various levels and implemented appropriate working procedures.

By knowing and understanding technical details in the Gas Processing plants, and having a clear understanding of every employee role and capability, we work as a team to take care of the Gas Processing Plants as it is part of our life.

Dedication, honesty and sacrifice are required in our field; this is my legacy to my fellow colleagues.

We need to reduce the risks in the Oil and Gas sector so we can live safely in our society which is ruled by God's blessed natural resources.

Adhering to the rules and regulation in the preservation of the environment, we will be able to achieve our desired goal and save the earth.

When I was with the QP management team, I participated effectively in adding value to my country and fellow Qataris by providing employment opportunities to the young generation.

In this new era, knowledge, technology and science are the main keys of the advanced economies in the world. And,My responsibility goes beyond earning a decent living, but to gain knowledge, self-respect, work experience and gain impact on the lives of my fellow Qatari from my previous work experience and lessons learned.
