The photographs in this album were

taken during an afternoon that we

spent with some Uros families living

on the Uros Islands - a group of about

40 floating islands in the northern

section of Lake Titicaca near

Puno, Peru, at an elevation of 12,500

feet.

They live on their “swimming islands”

they´ve made of Totora reed.
