Gathering Materials

Do not be limited to only pictures, use alternative materials such as found objects, beads, buttons, organic materials, glitter….

• After you have collected your materials, lay out all the materials and experiment with placement.

• On a seperate sheet of paper draw out a template of the size and shape you want your final piece to be.

• Now you can fit your materials and cut them

to the size they need to be using your template.

Resin Tips If you decide to use a

photograph or paper that you do not want to fade or smear the ink, you must encase your paper in clear tape or mod podge.

If you want a vintage look, you may not want to encase your photo or paper.

Bubbles can be popped with a toothpick.

• I will provide you with metal for your project. • I also have some beads you can use if you choose.• You must supply materials to put into your bezel. • This project can be so much fun if you spend

the time. The outcome is up to you.

Project Criteria:1. You must have a theme.2. You must include 3 different

elements in the bezel setting. (ie. picture, beads, found object).

3. Include at least 1 found object.4. Use techniques we have

learned in jewelry 1 and advanced jewelry.
