Sales on mobile & tablet devices surged to 9.8% from 3.2% year-over-year (2011 vs. 2010) on Black Friday.

Mobile bounce rates remain the highest, while "add-to-cart"

rates are still low, indicating that mobile website visitors

are doing a great deal of research often in-store.

Visitors on tablet devices are moving further along the

conversion funnel, with an add-to-cart rate that rivals

that of visitors on desktop computers.
