Good morning CC Yellow! On the next slide is a timetable of the day.

If you have any questions, please message your teacher on Google Classroom.Work your way through your activities. Parents on a good day do more and don’t forget we can learn in lots of ways. If you need breaks add them into your day and TAKE YOUR TIME.

If you find an alternative learning activity that your child enjoys that is ok too.

Afternoon activities for the WeekThese activities are provided if you need or want to do more. Please gauge your child’s needs and behaviour. Ask the child what they feel like doing and offer a couple of suggestions so they do not become overwhelmed by the choices.

• WALT –I am learning my phonemes /m/ /o/ /t/ /c/ /s/ /g/ /p/ /a/ which are also sounds.• WILF – I can hear & locate the /m/ /o/ /t/ /c/ /s/ /g/ /p/ /a/ sounds in words.

3. Reading –

Listen to Outside in by Deborah UnderwoodThere's a lovely message here about the importance of our connection with nature, but the warmth of the words can get muddled with the moody, slightly melancholy images. Outside In helps emerging readers see that all the things they love outdoors can bring them joy indoors.

• 🌳🌳 Kids Books Read Aloud - Outside In by Deborah Underwood - l - Bing video

•Families can talk about how they feel when they've been inside for a while, like in Outside In. What do you miss? Do you ever feel like the outside is with you indoors, too?•When you think of being outside, what is the first place you think of being, and what do your five senses tell you about that place?•Who do you like to go outside with? Who do you like to be inside with?

WHAT'S THE STORY?Flora has a fan and is dressed in peacock green and blue when she meets two peacocks. She bows in what appears to be an invitation to dance. One peacock is interested; the other looks jealous. Flora tries to bring that peacock into the dance, but then the other looks unhappy. She tries to stop them from fighting and make peace but then gives up. Finally, the peacocks see it's more fun if all three of them play nicely together.
