What is an RSS Feed?
RSS stands for “Really Simple Syndication” RSS Feeds are used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news
headlines, forum discussions, audio, and video, etc. in a standardized format.
Feeds includes full or summarized text, plus metadata such as publishing dates and authorship.
Benefits: RSS feeds benefit publishers by letting them syndicate content automatically.
Benefit readers who want to subscribe to timely updates from favorite websites or to aggregate feeds from many sites into one place.
Look for the RSS Icon, “RSS Feeds”, “XML Feeds”, “Atom Feeds”, or “Subscribe” Links.
