ABSTRACT:Iwillexaminecurrentmul,modalapproachestoresearchanddigitalpublishinginfilmandmediastudies.Iwillfocusontworecentexamplesofaudiovisualessayspublishedonlinealongsidewri?entextstoarguethatnotonlywouldfilmandmediastudiesbenefitfrommoving“BeyondtheBook”asapresenta,onalmode,butalsofromembracingthenewnetworkedanddigitallyenrichedresearchmethodsandprocessesthatleadtotheseenrichedscholarlymediaforms,too.
