ColourI came to the conclusion that this would be the main colour in my colour scheme, mostly because it is so
mysterious with no direct connotations to either male or female. Meaning that my magazine is unisex and so I
wouldn’t want to go for a colour like pink, as males may not feel comfortable reading this in public/company. I feel
strongly towards the idea that it is important that my models clothing and makeup fits in with this colour
scheme to ensure that it is consistent throughout. For this reason they will wear purple lipstick, as well as eye
shadow, and even nail varnish.
Main ImageMy model is going to have dark hair and dark
eyes to add to the sense of mystery, and ultimately create suspense. It is for sure that my main image
will be a close up with mostly the models face visible, and limited amount of space will be
dedicated to her clothing. For me it is important to include direct eye contact, to make the reader feel
involved and create an intense relationship between the reader and the front cover.
My audiences all hold extremely similar interests, they like to keep up to date with the latest technology, as well as
interacting with their friends on social media sites. However they like to
interact with people of similar interest and for this reason ‘Indie’ fans have been
stereotyped into all of them loving to skateboard. This is a way that they are all able to socialise and talk about their similar interests, especially in music.
