I. Vision, Objectives and Pillars of PEDSA/PNISA

Vision: An integrated, prosperous, competitive
and sustainable agriculture sector
Objectives: i) Accelerate the production of staple foods, ii)Increase income, iii) Ensure access and secure
land tenure and natural resources iv) Provision of services considering the value chain
v) Promote development of zones high agriculture potential, and
vi) Contribute to the balance of payments.

V. ProSAVANA: Legislation and partnerships models
All private and public investments
under the ProSAVANA
Program shall respect the existing
laws and will privileged the established partnerships
models:
land concessions for food crops production, 40% of the land shall be allocated to local
communities for production of food crops in contract
basis.
land concessions for production of non food crops, at least 10% of
the land shall be reserved for food
crops production and 30% of the land shall
be for direct participation of local
communities, in contract of production
basis..
