The cushion clamps are made by stamping from low-carbon strip steel. The steel is zinc plated with a yellow di-chromate anti corrosion treatment. The zinc plating conforms to a G-90 thickness designation per ASTM A653. These clamps are well suited for absorbing shock, reducing vibration, eliminating unwanted noise and preventing galvanic corrosion between various pipe materials and the steel clamps. Specially designed protrusions lock the cushion into the strut to ensure vibrations do not move the clamp.
