Uper part of interosseous membrane

EXTENSOR DIGITORUM LONGUS-INSERTIONIt divides into four

tendons for the lateral four toes.each tendon is joined on the lateral side by a tendon of the extensor edigitorum brevis ,

It is inserted on the bases of the middle and distal phalanges

EXTENSOR DIGITORUM BREVIS MUSCLE

EXTENSOR DIGITORUM BREVIS-ORIGINSmall muscle

situated on the lateral part of the dorsum of the foot

The muscle arises from anterior part of the superior surface of the calcaneum

The medial tendon is known as extensor hallucis brevis

EXTENSOR DIGITORUM BREVIS-INSERTION The muscle divides

into medial four tendons

the medial tendon is inserted into base of proximal phalanx of the big toe

the other tendon is inserted into 2nd,3rd,4th toes
