My News…On the Go is an electronic replica of the newspaper accessed through the internet with a secure login

• Peruse the newspaper by browsing through the pages

• Read stories in the newspaper format or click on the title to view just the text

Logging InLogging Ingg ggg g

1. Open your internet browser and go to http://www.mynewsonthego/cantonrep

2. Enter your user name and password

3. Click Sign In

1. Once logged in, you will see the current day’s edition

2 Cli k th2. Click on the thumbnail to open the ePaper

3. A separate window will appear with the front page of thefront page of the newspaper

ePaper ReaderePaper Reader

The ePaper ReaderThe ePaper Reader displays the selected page in the main window andwindow and thumbnail images of the front pages of each section.

The following pages will demonstrate the functionality of the ePaper Reader.

Browse: Click the arrows to view the previous/next page or select the desiredpage or select the desired

page number of the selected section from the

pull down menu

Save Section: Click on the Disk Icon to save an entire section to

your computer.

Quick Browse: Click on arrows or select a page

from the pull down menu to preview it. If

you want to see the full i li k thpage view, click on the

image.

ePaper Reader ToolbarePaper Reader ToolbarZOOM TOOL: Selecting the Zoom tool

turns OFF the story links and allows you to zoom in on a portion of a page by clicking in an area with your mouse. The page will

TAKE SNAPSHOT: Select this tool to open or save a portion of the page, such as a picture or advertisement. Left click the mouse and drag the area you want to save.

PAGE SIZE: Increase or Decrease the view of the page by toggling the Page Size.

Increase the size of the text by

to this story in the Bookmarks section of

newscaster read the story to you.

Click on the BOOKMARKS Link to review all the stories

that have been bookmarked.

Click on the story title to see read the text of the article or click on the page number tothe page number to

open the ePaper Reader.

Click on the X to delete a bookmark.

ARCHIVEARCHIVE Click on the ARCHIVEClick on the ARCHIVE Link to view the

newspaper from the past 30 days.
