• Rites of Passage is a very special

event for 8th grade students, parents

and teachers

• During a 15 minute presentation each

student must:

Demonstrate mastery of exit

outcomes

Provide a visual aid with their

speech

Present their portfolio of work

samples

their accomplishments as well as their

gratitude to their parents and teachers

• It is a very moving experience for

students, parents, and teachers

presentations using an uniform rubric

• A committee of teachers works all year

to develop the rubric and expectations

for students and teachers
