These are the Benevolent Outreach programs of the Ministerial Alliance of Grove, Oklahoma.

The H.E.L.P. center, our local food bank, and Abundant Blessing, our family resource /education center,

are both housed in this small building.

Our team was at the H.E.L.P. Center the week before Thanksgiving preparing baskets and replenishing shelves from local food drives.

What a busy time it was.

Each basket contains a full Thanksgiving meal for a family. These bags have all the fresh ingredients.

What a blessing!

In one day our team and other volunteers prepared over 200 Thanksgiving baskets. Enough to feed 1200 people.

The HELP Center provides food to about 30 families each day and is currently bursting at the seams. Imagine what they could do with more space.

More than just food

Many times food is not the only need. The HELP Center and Abundant Blessings Center also offer household items to many families and individuals in need.

• Often called upon to help after a fire or other emergency.

• The centers also help women starting over after leaving abusive situations.

Abundant Blessings Center’s reception and family counseling are currently in the same room.

Classroom-Media Room• ABC is a resource for many

young women and families.• They offer physical,

spiritual, and emotional support and education.

• The only Sex Education program in the area. The teen pregnancy rate in our county is 3x the national average.

The Centers are Ready for Expansion

The centers of the Ministerial Alliance are already serving so many people and providing valuable resources. With more money they could expand to offer: • Cooking and nutrition

classes• Community garden• Parenting Classes• Life skills workshops

This new building would double the H.E.L.P center’s square footage. Allowing them to help more families, and provide space for our Life Enrichment Center. The Center will teach life skills such as cooking, menu planning, budgeting, gardening, and nutrition.

As a team we are excited to volunteer in the classroom and in the garden.
