It is with the greatest love that I greet each of you and I want you to know that I love you with the love of the Lord! It has been said that no one person has ever accomplished anything really signi cant alone. e truth taught in this proverb is that greatness is established in concert with other people. irty-two years ago, the Lord gave me a Word, “A God Said,” which God knew could only be accomplished and brought to full fruition through a symphonic of people who would play their part and play it well. If I could get a multitude of persons together to play their part, then it would create a harmony which would glorify God and bless others. at, my brothers and sisters, has been my calling and burden for the last thirty years. I have been called to be a Conductor of the orchestra, to create beautiful music which will make the world a better place and bring light into the darkness. I have been called to be a Change Agent.
Over the years, there have been some wonderful times of awesome harmony as well as a lot of times of sour notes, missing band members and lackluster conducting. But, through it all, the band is still here. e music continues to be played and the success rate of concerts being produced is increasing. And, I believe I can say without reservation that there is a little more harmo-ny in the world because New Horizon exist, and seek to follow His will. is is a manifestation of God’s favor. A favor that allows us to be a part of what God is doing and also to accomplish something special!
ere is an Andre Crouch song which today expresses my feelings very well. e song says, “how can I say thanks for all the things you have done for me, so many things you have done to prove your love for me, the voices of a million angels could not express my gratitude, all that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to thee!” New Horizon members and regulars, this is how I feel about God and you. I wouldn’t be a conductor without God, but, I also wouldn’t be a conductor without you! Music, word and harmony would not have been created without us together. Some of you are strings, some are wood-winds, some brass and some percussion, but it takes all to be a slam-ming band. irty years ago, I could never have imagined the favor that has

and strongholds of the enemy!
I am a saint of God, a faithful brother/sister, a proclaimerof God’s Word and a model of holy living!
I am more than a conqueror,a member of the royal family and royal priesthood!

NOTES been a orded us. We have done so much, and been where we didn’t place ourselves. is story is all about God and His favor, which has brought us to a New Horizon. ank you, my people, I love you so much. I hope I have been a conductor and leader you have been proud of over these thirty years!
Counting It All Joy,
Bishop Ronnie C. Crudup, Sr.Senior Pastor, New Horizon Church International
History and Timeline ollowing a word from God to “go establish a church that would be on a new horizon,” Ronnie C. Crudup, Sr. founded New Horizon as New Horizon Baptist Church in August 1987. e rst worship service was held on Sep-tember 6, 1987 at New Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church.
e congregation started with 62 charter members along with their children. During the rst three years of our existence, we aired our rst radio broad-cast on WOAD and Bishop Ronnie Crudup, Sr. established New Horizon Child Care with rst lady Jacqueline Crudup as Director. We became the rst non-state certi ed Elderly Daycare Facility in addition to establishing New Horizon Ministries, Inc. in 1989. e congregation met in a variety of rented facilities during the rst three years which included New Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church, e Holiday Inn-Medical Center (now the Cabot Lodge-Millsaps), Grove Part Community Center and the Jackson Mini Mall Shopping Center. e following are signi cant dates and events in the 30 year history of NHCI.
F
1990 – Hired fi rst church employee in March (Susan Forrest)
1990 – Purchased 2650 Belvedere Dr. location
(1st worship service was Sept. 2, 1990)
1991 – Started Children’s Church (Charles and Gail Smith)
1992 – Formed fellowship with Trinity Presbyterian Church
1992 – New Horizon Drug and Alcohol Ministry was established as the
It is with the greatest love that I greet each of you and I want you to know that I love you with the love of the Lord!
