DOCKERS CUP The girls played really well at the Dockers Cup Footy,
improving every game. It was fantastic to see some new
faces representing Lockridge PS and the team gelled well.
We had the running power of Connie & Cheyenne at the
back supported well by the speedsters Caitlin & Janelle.
Sophie, Imahni & ‘fast feet’ Aaneka dominated the middle
of the field while Keleisha constantly picked out Eva May
and Destiny with precise kicking. There were some
gigantic kicks at goal from the likes of Charlie and Imahni,
often scoring well from our own half of the field. Mya was
fearless and battled all day for the team, scoring some
sensational goals with her ‘left peg’. Aaneka-Ann is absent
from the pic as she returned to School early and the
Doctor has confirmed a slight fracture in her wrist. We look
forward to having Aaneka-Ann fully fit again soon.

Dear Parents / Carers
With one [1] day left in the term I would like to congratulate and thank our students and staff on a productive and enjoyable term. As I said at our assembly, the children and staff are thanked for their fabulous work effort; listening to their teachers; working in small groups; working independently; using technology; being proud of their work; taking up the various opportunities; and trying to do their best.
The last day of school for this term is FRIDAY, 13 April.
School opens for Term 2 on TUESDAY, 1 May.
I wish students, staff and parents a safe and enjoyable holiday break.
PERFORMING ARTS ASSEMBLY The school was very proud of all the students that participated in the Performing Arts Assembly last Friday. We were brilliantly entertained with singing, dancing and instrumentalists. Mrs McGhee and Sophie from the Song Room collaborated to put on a wide range of skills that the children performed confidently. Well done, Lockridge.
