Why CMEP
The main objective of organizing the course is to enhance professional skills through practical trainings in processes/practices for continuous improvement leading to manufacturing excellence. Through this course the employees can develop and enhance their hands-on professional skills so that they can drive and sustain the Kaizen principles in their organiza-tion. Not only the employees lack the desired technical skills but also there is a gap felt in supervisory and leadership skills which are required to be competitive in today’s world of globalization. This is where this course will help the professionals to hone their skills and adopt practices that would result in continuous improvement. There is a huge skill deficit in India in manufacturing. This deficit is not just in terms of number of people but also in terms of skills of the existing employees. The curriculum is rooted in the current corporate reality, needs and prac-tices. The course is a hands-on-teaching based on a unique combination of group-work, simulation games, factory visits and case studies. The course will focus on concepts like Total Flow Management (TFM), Total
Productive Maintenance (TPM™) and KAIZEN Foundations (Please see the attached detailed Course Contents).
