Marathwada University, Aurangabad for providing us the grant to arrange our N.S.S

Camp at Fatiabad village. We are also thankful to his special efforts to remain with us

during the camp.

Azad Education Trust, Aurangabad for her kind support and the facilities provided to us

for the success of camp.

Aurangabad for his continuous guidance and support to us for the completion of each and

every aspect of the camp in details.

We are happy to have the young and dynamic surpanch Mrs. Anita Bharat Bhaskar of

Fatiabad village with us and ever guiding gram service. We are thankful to their all

facilities they have provided and assistance to develop garden at Zillah Parishad School

and Dargah place, and the table and chair for the functions of the camp.

We are also thankful to news papers publishers like Divya Marathi, Sakal, Asia Times,

Aurangabad Times Urdu Daily,Samana to publish our articles in their news papers.

We appreciate the help given to us in the form of accessories by Maulana Azad College,

Dr. Rafiq Zakaria campus.

Introduction:-

Dr. Rafiq Zakaria campus based, Y. B. Chavan College of Pharmacy, selected to take its

National Service Scheme camp 2015-16 with prior permission and discussion with

surpanch Mrs. Anita Bharat Bhaskar. He allotted the “Fatiabad Mandir” for the stay

of student during the stay period of camp i.e 13th

The N.S.S programme officer and the team of students visited the Fatiabad village with

the survey questionnaires to understand the need of work to be done at the village.

The 50 Survey Questionnaires were distributed and collected by students at different

corners of the village on 13th

Jan. 2016. When the collected survey questionnaires were

studied, the villagers demand to do the gram Swachata unanimously, secondly to the light

on health awareness, thirdly they discussed the problem of plantation and the lack of

water in the village.

The demanded approach was undertaken as an aims and objectives for the camp under the

heading of “Swachata Avam Arogya- Udyam Bharat Abhiyan”. Community Pharmacy

Centre, Y. B. Chavan College also contributes to plan their community services during

the camp duration.

Village Cleanliness

The N.S.S Volunteers taken initiatives of Gram Swacchata Abhiyan and Cleaned the

prime spots of dirt surrounding temple, Zilla Parishad School, Hazrat Jallaluddin Dargah

and the roads of the Fatiabad Village.

Day 3, 15th

Water Conservation/Plantation

Mr. Ajay Joshi the Deputy CEO of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation delivered a

lecture on water conservation and waste management to the villagers. Posters of water

conservation, health awareness and importance of education were pasted at the

respective places of village.

Day 4, 16th

General health Checkup

The N.S.S Volunteers had taken initiatives of general health awareness. NSS unit of

college arrange and appointed the doctors team at Fatiabad for general health checkup

and free distribution of medicines was carried out by the YBCCP. About 200 patients

were examined in the camp. Volunteers also providing the preventive measures of disease

like Diabetes, Dengue and Malaria, to Fatiabad Villagers.

Free Eye Checkup Camp

The NSS team of Y.B.Chavan College of Pharmacy conducted a free eye checkup camp

at Fatiabad villagers in coordination with Dr. Kabra and Team around 110 patients were

examined and specs were distributed from the staff.

Day 6, 18th

January 2016

Visit to old age home Matoshri Vrudhashram Kanchanwadi

The NSS team along with campus doctors, Dr. Muzammil and Dr. Afshan were visited to

the Matoshri Vrudhashram situated at Kanchanwadi. A health examination camp was

arranged for all the senior citizans of the old age home and free distributions of medicines

were done. The Principal of YBBCP Dr. Zahid Zaheer had visited the premises of old age

home and donated a daily utility kit to the senior citizens.

Valedictory Function

Last but not the end of the NSS activity, for the Valedictory function of the Camp the

chief guest was Dr.T.R.Patil NSS City Coordinator and guest Mrs. Anita Bharat Bhaskar

and Principal Dr. Zahid Zaheer was present. Mr. Ansari Altamash. Mr. Nikhil Sakle

(Programme Officer) has given a brief work done report and presented a vote of thanks to

all and specifically Padamshree Mrs. Fatma Rafiq Zakaria Madam, Chairperson of the

Maulana Azad Educational Trust for providing all necessary facilities for the success of

NSS camp. The NSS students and Student Coordinators were congratulated for their

continuous efforts for all the development occurred at Fatiabad Village.
